Flevoland. The youngest province of the Netherlands is known for its very fertile soil. The land was once sea and through (human) reclamation it has become a beautiful residential and agricultural area.
When it comes to agriculture, Flevoland is the number one of the Netherlands. Our onions, potatoes and carrots are grown in the primeval Dutch clay that the province is rich in. You could say that we grow our products on the bottom of the sea. Add to this the favorable climate and the availability of water, and you have best production conditions. You can taste that.

It officially exists since 1986 and is unique in its kind. Flevoland did not come about in a natural way, but was conceived and developed on the drawing board. For people, and by people.
Flevoland. The largest reclamation project in the world. You will not find a piece of handmade land of this size anywhere else in the world. The perfectly measured farmland. The straight roads. The open canals. The wild nature. All conceived by a group of bright minds.
And those bright minds took a lot into account. Things that benefit us to this day. For example, the province is extremely accessible by water and by land, thanks to the smart infrastructure. And there is always room to expand, to grow.
